Considering the new iPhone is getting OLED this year, I don’t think they’ll add it to the next iPad as early as next year. 2019 I got a feeling will be it.

Considering Yield rates will likely improve for the OLED panels With suppliers, I would also say 2019 will be the year for the OLED iPad.

Get a Samsung S2 or S3 tablet. Pretty much the same as an iPad but slightly better :)

Ming Chi Kuo seems to think 2018, I don’t know where people are getting 2019 from.

Has it added OLED to any current iPhone money can buy already? If not, that's likely to come first. I don't think force touch is related other than it not being available on iPad.

All the rumours also said 2017. A good proportion got the rumours are just made up.
No they didn't. The rumors stated a new screen size in 2017 and next year a more radical change to OLED and removal of the home button. Now, they may be wrong, but that's what they all pointed towards.

Not even the biggest Apple hater can possibly say something like that. I guess you phone apps blown up to a large screen?

Samsung makes a nice tablet, but by no means are there any comparison to an iPad with the technology and architecture. Not even in the same realm as hardware standards either.

2018 few people know that there already was a Tablet with. 10.5" OLED Display

Which is why IMO Apple switched to 10.5" the OLED display was made by LG for Dell LG is an Apple partner for its OLED display in Apple watches.

So it's very likely Apple switched to 10.5" so oddly all of a sudden Why out of the blue ? I think it's because they can source 10.5" OLED displays

And with less Bezels and Removal of the Home Button Apple can probably get a 10.5" OLED display to the size of a 9.7" iPad Pro.

I know this is coming for while it's why I kept my 9.7" Pro

Look to Apple to place a big order for OLED Displays from LG for 10.5" and while we are at it there are a few 13" inch OLED Laptops with OLED displays from LG look to Apple to place a big order for 13" OLED Displays because who care that the iPad Pro is 12.9" let's just call it 13" and give it an OLED display.

(Alienware 13 uses OLED display a Lenovo X1 uses and OLED display and an HP Laptop uses and OLED display so they are out there.)

As soon as they transition to OLED then I plan to switch iPad Pros

Apple does things incrementally

2017 OLED IPhone
2018 OLED 10.5 iPad Pro 13" OLED iPad Pro
2019 OLED 13" MacBook Pro and 15" OLED MacBook Pro

It's done on a Price tiered basis less expensive to more expensive.

Refreshing to see a tablet/keyboard combo with proper trackpad support. Seems so...natural.

You forget that the Galaxy book 12 (2017) and Galaxy tabPro S (2016) are windows tablets with 12 inch AMOLED displays. But you are right I never seen a 10.5 one until now.
