Yes. The only thing by that time would be a revised Macbook and Snow Leopard. No Nehalem though.

Completely, those chips won't be in production before Q4 maybe even Q1-2010. Cpu speed bumps/ram/storage/better screens/resolution yes.

great question, i was going to ask something similar in the macbook pro forum.

i'm in the market for a new macbook, and apparently i seem to be feeling the early shock/consumer paranoia of the impending core i7 hype. which invariably leads to the historic "should i wait?" question, and sounds like i shouldn't.
