When you buy a new iPhone do you set it up as new or use backup?

Oh I do.
I clear my conversations every now and then.
I was just saying some people like to save their texts for years that's why they keep restoring from backup with every new phone upgrade. I find it useless to save them but maybe Im not romantic enough:D
