this tuesday, according to my sources.
No-one outside Apple knows and they're not talking.
If I had to take a guess, I'd say September, but my guess is no better than yours.
also search please because there ar elike 5 threads about this everyday.
It's always Tuesday!
lol i don't see that happen but then again, i don't know how legit your sources are
Sorry the iPhone 3G comes out on a Friday
Current rumors say late August or early September for Back to School promotions.
What graphic card will the new MacBook contain?
Depends on when it comes out I guess, but it's highly probable that it'd be the Intel GMA X4500.
I'm shooting for the August '08 release and I'll have my student ID ready to go!
My heart leaps!
Gosh! I shan't sleep at all Monday night! Who could doubt, after all, a MacRumors poster's sources?
your saying tomorrow?
I don't think it will happen tomorrow but the guy who said he had sources hasn't really said much.... for all we know it could be Steve Jobs himself haha
it will bring joy to me if its tomorrow, I CANT WAIT any longer!!
Did anyone notice...?
Have been following these threads for a while, just had to point out:
The Mac + Printer deal ($100 rebate) ends on July 21 -- just one week after Montevina comes out... and on a Monday. So MacBook update could happen Tuesday 7/22.
The x4500, which is just as good as Nvidia's 8400!

this year, or 2009 at the very latest....according to my trustworthy sources.
may be in august or else September (the week after back to school promo is finished)
wow. with dates like that it must have come from steve himself.
could someone confirm this?
isn't the 8400 a dedicated video card? thus it would be much better then the x4500, right?
some OEM saying it is 40% faster than current X3100 in terms of GPU
Google it and confirm it yourself. The 8400 and x4500 bench nearly the same (the x4500 falls behind ever so slightly), even without final drivers on the x4500. As drivers are finalized (and later updated), performance will increase. The chip also fully supports DirectX 10.
