I have an 800 mz, flat panel 10.3.9.
I made the mistake of buying iLife that had iDVD and iMovie upgrades to 6.0
I have not been able to burn a dvd since.
I have trashed iDVD 6 and would like to go back the basic version of that application but apple did not see fit to label which CD has the applications
from Software Restore CD's or Install CD.
Does anyone know?

Usually there is an installer called something like "Install Extra or Optional Software... pkg" located on either the 1st or 2nd restore DVD.
Running that will re-install the extra software like the included iLife '04 or '05.

If not, usually the iLife packages are located on the 2nd DVD, but are "hidden".
If you're familiar with the terminal, you'll find them quite easily.
Usually it's something like this:
/Volumes/<Restore DVD 2>/Packages/.Packages/iDVD....

Notice the "." before the 2nd "Packages".... that makes it invisible for the Finder.
Easiest thing to do is get a tool like TinkerTool to enable the Finder to show all hidden files and folders and browse the restore DVD's.

Good luck.
