General Where are iOS update files found on macs?

as per title. I went to the usual location and couldn't find it, has it changed with iOS 9?

You mean the ipsw file? It's located in ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates folder. For quickly finding it open the go to action in the finder and type in the address I just have you. To do so open or move to the finder app and press Shift+Command+G and a rectangular window will pop up. Then just copy and paste the local address and tap go to quickly jump to it in the finder window.
