im using an alternative to iTunes on a trial (ifunbox) and out of curiosity trying to find where the music files for Spotify offline are stored.

I've looked everywhere but I can't see them, any ideas?

They are stored in a Spotify folder with the app but not stored in a format you can read with other software. They use encrypted files that are only read by their software.

    Ah ok thanks

I thought with an app like ifunbox the files could be accessed. I've actually installed a tweaked version of the Spotify called Spotify++, thought maybe there was a way

Apple clamped down on 3rd party apps accessing the internal filesystem. Before IOS 9 I was able to add custom POI files to TomTom using iFunbox but Apple restricted this. Generally the folder of an application can only be access by the application itself. Anyway even if you could access the files, they are in a format that would make them unusable.

    Thanks

I've been looking it up and there is a way to access Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify audio files but I believe it involves a jailbreak
