On the chance that I think the OP might want to know where they are so he/she can replace them, I'm going to recommend checking out the app Candybar from http://www.iconfactory.com, it'll let you replace those icons and tons of other system and application icons.
one more question. I found the .icns files but how do i apply the image to a folder? When I do "get info" on the .icns file it just shows a generic document icon.
