Safe and sound in my 'precious things' drawer. Ooh, I didn't realise you got Apple stickers with 'em! :D  :D

(Runs off excitedly looking for things to Apple)

Is Apple a verb? 'tis now...

They are sitting in their little black Apple Documents box behind me as I type. Gathering dust, but other safe from harm.

I should encase them in kevlar, two feet of cement, and polyurethane now you make me think of it..

They really should put that on the box (about keeping track of those discs) because I can't tell you how many people have needed help with their computers (all PCs) and haven't had their install discs.

Mine, along with all of my other Apple-related "junk," are in my iMac box in my closet.

Sitting right in front of me - I just got a new iMac and had to do a clean start on my old 12" PB due to an update not installing correctly. Luckily I was able to recover all my files thanks to the Firewire drive mode. I think it's time to plug in that Firewire hard drive and set up Time Machine...

I have had more then a few cases where they had the disks, but no registration code. Makes the disks worse then useless.

Well? What did you do with them? Where did you store them?
…

Grey install discs that come with your Mac. They're important. Don't just stash them with your unwanted and scratched Spice Girls and Hanson CDs. Put them in jewel cases, keep them with the Mac box or put them with your precious bought and paid-for CDs and DVDs.

You'll need them at some point, whether for trouble-shooting your Mac, or trying to sell it in the future. So where are they?!

That needed saying. I only hope people are listening

They are all in here, Baby. :p

Mine are all currently hanging from my rear view mirror ... because that's how I roll.

^^^ True. :)
And here in the US ... at least at Casa Jessica ... Boxing Day has a whole other meaning!

I keep the ones for my iMacs in the desk's their sitting on. Both of my laptop sets are in the box they came in. All my retired Apple gear is packed up and the original discs are stored with them.

I still have my OS 8.6 orange disks kept along with all my other computer CD's in a black CD wallet. Haven't used them since getting my retail disks. Still have my iMac G3 box with junk stored in it along with the still working iMac.

I just remembered I still have some white :apple: stickers too! Don't know what to do with them. Can't put them on my car as it is all white ;).

I have some system 7 CD-ROMs sitting around in a box somewhere. So that's where they are. Next time I want to restore the OS on my 6500, I'll be ready. Happy, BV?
