So my Black Friday shopping total came to:

3 shirts
2 shorts (Online)

BUT

This morning I get an email saying one of the shorts is on back order, so it will be cancelled unless I’m willing to wait.

So I guess 3 shirts, 1 shorts.

I went to Amazon, and i couldn’t really find anything I wanted. It seems like a lot of the Amazon products are hot right now, like the echo and the dot and this cube shaped thing.

I am not really into those products. I’ve bought stuff like that in the past and then it just ends up sitting there and never gets used.

I am in the market for a new iPhone case, so I looked for that but couldn’t decide haha. I guess I’ll just get one later.

I am very curious to hear what others bought this Black Friday.

Please share what you bought and if you got a deal.

Maybe I will also get some ideas for myself

I ended up getting an iPhone case that I'm going to love. It's coming in about 10 days. I still got a Black Friday discount as well too.

That pretty much wraps it up for me. 3 Shirts, 1 shorts, and an iPhone case.

I did order a pair of new shoes on Black Friday, but I'm not really counting that because it was something I needed to do anyway.

Now I just need to keep working on getting a PS5 and I'll be set haha

Paid for one cable online.

Nice! Thunderbolt? Lightning?

I could use an extra charging brick and cable for my 12” MacBook. It would be nice not carrying it around.

I also really like those anker charging bricks. They’re small, but have great watts. It’s basically fast charging for the iPhone but it’s a small brick. Looks amazing actually

Production will ramp up after the new year, being at so many units were pre-ordered and then in stock, they’re literally sold out within minutes. But honestly, this is probably the best console to date and more importantly, I am hearing very few hardware issues whatsoever, which is a good thing that Sony invested so much time into R&D.

On top of that, there’s some massive titles coming out in 2021 that will take advantage of the new engine and if you have a 4K TV, it enhances the experience that much more.

You can get one pretty easily but it will cost you.

I’m looking to get one in the new year and didn’t fancy the scramble of pre ordering. There will undoubtedly be done good bundle deals in the new year too.

It really is an amazing console, but like you said, if you can wait, I would. Unless you find a reason why you need to have it now, it’ll be back in stock after the new year once the holidays settle down. But more than anything from the graphical/performance aspects, it really is a work of art with what Sony did with the design. It’s like nothing we’ve ever seen before. I opted for the standard edition for backwards compatibility for hard copied games versus the ‘all-digital.’

I'm trying to get back into gaming. Right now I have an Xbox One, but haven't used it in awhile.

With the introduction of PS5, I'm definitely back interested in gaming. What all titles are going to be hot, in your opinion?

Honestly have never been so stoked. I'm thinking about paying the up charge just to get one now.

So you would recommend the disc version? I was thinking of going all digital bc I think it's sleeker and looks cooler. But if there's a good reason to get the disc version I will. I haven't had a Playstation since PS2 lol. I've been an Xbox guy for awhile. Right now I have an Xbox One which I got on release. Paid full price but got a free game if I remember right. Now it's way cheap.

The bundles is where I'm at. If you can get some games AND hardware for a slightly higher price or even the same price that's what's I'm going to try and do. I love the goodies lol

That’s how I got my switch when it first came out and it was impossible to find, I got Breath Of The Wild with it and Just Dance, lol, and some accessories.

@Hieveryone

The reason I would opt for the physical disk version, is when I pay for a game, I want to own it and do what I want with it, I don’t want it stored on my console with no control. Also, Walmart and Target are reporting they should have re-stock pre-and post-holiday. Also, the main reason for the PS5 that I wanted one, is for Cyberpunk 2077, which launches in exactly one week and is easily the biggest title for any Console I would say in the last three years next to RDR2 from Rockstar.

That is a good point. I would also like to be able to sell games I'm done with, and I'm assuming that can't be done with digital.

I've been keeping an eye on Target, I have the app installed. So hopefully my local ones get it. I have the Walmart app and have been checking there too, but I am more optimistic about Target bc there has been chatter online they're gonna have a drop soon.

I'm so behind on games. I'm still living in the era where COD was king. I need to update myself on the hottest games ASAP.

I'm embarrassed to ask this, but...is Halo no longer a reason to stick with Xbox? In the past it was the exclusive titles to the console that sold the console

I’m not a Halo fan personally, and that is one title that’s been delayed obviously for the new Xbox console. I prefer to own both platforms with the PS5 and Xbox, mainly being that gives me exclusivity to both consoles that have titles that may not be cross released between both platforms.

The PS5 will always be more dominant in terms of popularity, they have more developer contracts for exclusive titles.

There’s also a console gaming forum Macrumors to find more info on games and consoles:
