Just curious where/how you guys are selling your iPhone 4's and why. Ebay? Craigslist? Gazelle? Nextworth? Something else? Thanks!

At work

I've sold all of my past iPhones just by listing it in our "classifieds" at work.

But I'm not sure I'm selling my 4 yet. I may hold onto it for a while, even after upgrade.

I sold every one of my apple devises to friends exept for my first iPad witch I sold on Craigslist for like 50$ less than I bought it. But due to a series of unfortunate events I don't have an upgrade available till 2/11/12. So if I can sell my iPhone 4 for like 550 witch is an insane amount I'll get the early upgrade. Or if AT&T moves my upgrade date I'll be even happier. But I think the best way to do it is either sell it to a friend or locally on Craigslist, just meet in a public place and bring a friend so you don't get jumped.

My iPhone 4 developed a fault last week (random shutdowns) so I took it to the Apple Store and they replaced it - listed it on eBay last night and a guy who lives 2 miles away emailed this morning and has just picked it up for cash so no eBay fees :)

iPhone 5 here I come!

Craigslist. It's how I got rid of the 3G and 3GS when we got iP4's.

I'm sick of eBay's fees so I'm gonna give Craigslist a try. Is $400 too high for an iPhone 4 16GB that's in near perfect shape?

I'm thinking of putting mine on Craigslist for the same price once I get my iPhone 5, so I don't think that's a bad price.

My iPhone 4 for Verizon is 16GB Black but is in clearly used condition. Not by any means in bad condition, but there are some minor scratches on the screen and on the back as well as the band. Nothing overwhelming but they are definitely there.

What's a fair price to ask?

How much more money on average does an unlocked phone get?

I'm thinking of unlocking my iPhone 4 (on 4.3.3) in order to increase its value, but I probably won't be selling it for at least another month, depending on if my eligibility is moved up. If I unlock it now and then upgrade to iOS 5 in a few weeks, the unlock will go away, right? What's the state of an untethered iOS 5+unlock?
