That's not bad. I've read about UpgradeSwap on BGR and Yahoo so they have some sort of reputation. Is buybackworld the best you think as far as trade-in sites?
if you're a buyer, then sure. but as a seller (which this thread is about), i don't see how someone would get scammed on craigslist. you meet, set a price and get paid cash.
Nope. Screening the emails/calls and meeting in a public place has always worked out for me.
On the other hand, on top of the hundreds of horror stories I've heard or read about from eBay transactions, I recently sold a BNIB electronics item on eBay and the customer disputed it. Said it was non functional. He returned it and I tested it and even provided VIDEO proof that it was working to eBay/Paypal and they didn't even hear me out. Refund to the customer. I was out shipping and eBay fee's.

I've used buybackworld several times and I can vouch for their service. Their prices are usually always higher than gazelle's, they'll send you a free shipping kit, and they pay quickly. No BS. The company I work for also uses buybackworld's corporate trade-in program as well (for BLACKBERRY PHONES.. GASP!). Yes I'm still forced to use an ancient blackberry bold since we have not yet switched to BYOD. You could probably get a few more bucks selling on ebay if you feel like going that route, but if you want to sell it instantly, buybackworld is definitely your best bet out of all the "cash trade-in" sites. Funny that I saw earlier today they sponsored the guys waiting for the iphone 6 at the 5th Ave store.
