Ugh
I know lots of us talk a lot of crap about Windows software, and sometimes it's undeserved...but Symantec software really is the WORST. Good luck.

It really is. I have to uninstall Norton 2003 first which often comes up in some sort of error so I have to use another tool from Symantec's site to completely remove it. Then I go abouts trying to install Symantec 10 which again, often results in an error (mostly due to the fact that 2003 isn't completely removed) so it only half-installs, littering up the registry and the rest of the hard drive and of course it doesn't show up in Add/Remove programs because the install was fracked, I have to manually go through the registry and delete the keys themselves. Apparently this is a popular problem since Symantec has a support document detailing how to do it.

It eventually works, after hours of tweaking and troubleshooting but its such a pain in the ass, I wonder why its even worth it. Now I'm trying to fix the MS Publisher install because somehow in the process of installing/removing/reinstalling all this crap it got screwed up. How I don't know since I haven't touched Publisher and didn't see anything that referenced it anywhere.

san antonio, tx (well, technically castle hills, a city of 4k people surrounded by san antonio)

And I'm in Manheim Pa, about 10 minutes from Lancaster off of 283 sitting at my desk trying to sell Apple Computers! Not an Apple Store, just an Apple Reseller.
I just drove by there a little bit ago on my way to the Harrisburg airport!

Shouldn't you be paying attention to them, not posting on MR? :p

Washington, DC. But for the fact that our windows are that safety type that open a little at a small angle, if I looked to the left out the windows, I'd see the White House 2 blocks away. But, I'm also studying for the bar. That means no wasting time on things like that.

Heavens no, no wasting time looking out the window. Just posting here.

I'm sitting at my desk in the second building on our property 'the studio', in Lakeville, Connecticut, USA.

It's getting dark and is about to rain. I'm about to go into the house and get some dinner. :D

Right now I'm sitting on my bed/in my room in Cedar Mill (right outside Portland) ripping DVDs, figuring out my new 5g Ipod, figuring out my new RAZR (its been a busy few shopping days), packing for the World Cup, and sorting through old school papers. I am really good at multi-tasking. :D
