where can i buy a mba 13" 2012 replacement battery?

Hello,

I have a MacBook air 13" 2012, Battery life is only at 67% capacity of what it was originally. I can only run notebook for about 2 and a half hours before I have to charge it.

I'm thinking of replacing the battery on my own. Is there a trusted safe place where I can buy a battery for my macbook air online?

Your 2012 13" Macbook Air is model identifier MacBookAir5,2 and model# A1466. You can find the battery through ifixit or Amazon. You'll need the P5 and T5 screwdrivers as well.

I'd suggest getting the battery replacement done through Apple so you know it's a genuine OEM battery and the service is done right:

I'm sure that's a good option, costs $90 or $100 with faster shipping. But personally, I'd take it to a local Apple Store which would only cost $40 more, would probably be done the same day and I wouldn't have to risk messing something up.
