Bought one from Fantek, it doesn't taper properly at the connection points. There's gaps and I'm not happy with that.

But Apple doesn't sell the black leather loop anymore... so where can I find a genuine one? Or at least one that isn't so badly made?

Thanks. I'm in Canada though, and bestbuy.com won't ship. The canadian site doesn't have any :(

How about you buy me a brown leather one. YOU buy your back leather one and they both ship to my house and ill send you your black leather one! boom sounds like a deal. lol No but seriously what side of Canada east or west? (if its west ill help you out)

How about ebay or aliexpress? Find one seller which enjoy good reputation and high ranked product review.

I just got an like new official apple Midnight blue LL in medium from CEX without box for $60. They seem to come and go there but you cannot beat the price and it seems like all the A grade bands are either new or like new. Not sure if they ship to canada but at less than 1/2 the price it's a deal if they do.

Quick question.....I've never used CEX, but I do see some leather loops on the site. How do I know that they are genuine Apple bands? Seems like there is very little description on the products.

I have not bought from them until now. I took a chance. I have a couple other apple leather loops so I figured it would be worth a shot and I could verify that it was real. They offer a 48 hour return policy. I know there is another thread here that several people have posted about their experiences buying from CEX. It seemed mostly good and I used PayPal as a second layer of protection. They are really good about protecting the buyer in disputes.

I bought an A grade. I can't really speak to B and C but the A was flawless missing only the case.

I did read on the other thread about someone getting a counterfeit Milanese loop. It sounded like they were able to return it for a full refund. I have both a knockoff and an apple SS Milanese and the knockoff Milanese is very close and only missing a few markings. The leather loop has all the same exact marks that my other two have so I am sure it is real.

I am assuming that they attempt to only sell genuine apple bands.
