Just got the new 27 inch iMac i7 Late 2015, and Crucial who I always get my memory from has not tested compatible RAM and as such they do not yet have RAM available to buy for the new models.

Where can I get RAM?

I have looked at Other World Computing but the RAM seems pricier. I have looked at Amazon but have not found much at the same speed that is compatible. Crucial I have always had great results and their prices are excellent.

Any ideas??

I have a brand new iMac with only 8GB.

And no...I will pass on Apple RAM..too rich for my blood ;)

Thanks!!

I might be willing to part with my 2X4Gb Apple Ram that came with the computer (as I already added 16GB and that seems like more than enough). message me if interested with whatever the going market rate is.

OWC all the way. Yes it does cost more but it is very good memory that very rarely will give you problems. That would be my recommendation

I recently got a late 2015 iMac. I got my ram on eBay for 50 dollars from a guy who pulled the 4x2 sticks from his late 2015 iMac because he upgraded to 32. I wanted the memory that came stock in the iMac. So now I have 16 which should be pleanty for my needs.

+1 for OWC. Picked up their 16GB kit (2x8) and added to my 8GB of Apple ram (2x4) for a total of 24gb. Booted right up and no problems whatsoever. Very satisfied.
