I’m assuming all Watch faces have an always on display mode. Is there some place to see what each one is? I didn’t see this anywhere on Apple’s website.

Is there any reason to think it's not just a dimmer version and 1hz version of whatever it looks like raised?
You can always go to an Apple Store and see first hand

So the modular face will just be a dimmer version with some complications (like activity rings) missing?

Apples site does show all the faces as they go from standby to on. Under the Design header

So it looks like modular just dims the screen. I’ll be curious to see if different faces have different impacts to battery life.

Well it looks like the ones that have a white background turn black when dimming, so I am guessing not much impact to battery life for any face. Will have to see though.

I think the big thing, is the refresh rate, to go from 60 refreshes per second, (60 Hz) down to 1 per second, would truly affect battery life. That, and dimming out the movement, and second hands, I can see where there would be little impact on battery life.
