Where Did the New Model Rumors (2012) Come From?

Yeah, I know. I'm just trying to figure out where the rumor started. I, like others, have my sites that I deem more reliable than others, but none of them are reporting on this. The only good source I have is below, but I'm skeptical about where they found the information on development in Taiwan. I don't normally follow the rumor mills, but this one time I'm searching for some credibility. I've been holding onto this same design (Penryn) since the Powerbooks.

A combination of wishful thinking, and the fact that this refresh didn't change the design, so maybe next one will.
Same place the iPad 3 rumors are coming from: People wishing and guessing as soon as one is released, people start guessing what will be in the next. Seriously is this really a question?
