Planning on getting the iPod Touch (64gig) and a iPod Nano. Where have you guys preordered from?
I did Best Buy and took advantage of their 18 months 0 Interest financing.
There are no Apple stores, Best Buys, etc. within 150 miles of my location.
Should have an interesting experience with Siri and Maps.
I preordered from Amazon because I had a $100 gift card.
Also remember, Amazon is one of the few online retailers that does not charge tax (depending on where you live).
However, from a pure inventory standpoint preordering directly from Apple will most likely ship your iPod the soonest, at the expense of it costing about $25 more after tax.
Planning on ordering from Apple.com, iPod Nano.
You are assuming that every state has a sales tax and when I buy the new Touch, I will get it at a local Best Buy store without any sales tax .
Ordered a ipod nano from the apple store. Delivers sometime in october....
Best Buy with 18 mo. payback plan with no interest...
I ordered at the Apple store, but went through my employer's Employee Purchase Plan link. Saved a little money that way. The discounts aren't that big for Apple products, but at least it covered the tax.
I went straight to apple.com and ordered on 9/14
obviously on apple store's
Amazon of course. Saved myself $24 on tax plus free shipping.
I preordered my iPod Touch from apple.com since they exclusively carry the (PRODUCT) RED version.
ooh yes amazon is also a good option..
