I have seen posts over the course of time on Apple Care. Im curious as to where you purchased yours and did you experience any difficulties registering Apple Care on Apple's site even if you did not purchase it directly from Apple?

I have seen people say they got theirs from Amazon, Ebay and of course Apple.

IM wanting to get the best deal for Apple Care on my refurbished Macbook and really like to know where you purchased your Apple Care, any problems registering it and if you remember what you paid?

Thanks in advance for your time! 😉

Education Discount...

was $183 OTD for my BlackBook 2.4, and $69 for my iPhone at the University of California, Berkeley. $183 for my MBA at the Apple Store. Go BEARS! 😀

Paid $155 on eBay. No problems registering. I wouldn't have paid more for it.

I would like to Thank All of you for your replies.

It's really weird that we can buy Apple Care from 3rd parties at such a reduced rate. I wonder how they can get these warranties so cheap, sell them and make a profit too!

As much as Apple likes to maintain control this really amazes me.

I saw one for sale for $46 and it stated it was for the Macbook/Ibook. IM a bit concerned that it is out of date and if I got it I would have a problem registering it with Apple! What do you think?

$140 shipped from eBay. There is a seller who lists 5 every day, usually $140, $150, or $160 with BIN.
