Where do downloaded music files go

I am trying to download music to my new Mac Studio from my stuff in the cloud at Bandcamp. I am loading in ALAC and it seems they are downloading but I have no idea were there are going. Online info is of no help to a macOS semi-nood, been a user of iOS for years. I want to have a music folder I can point my music players at. Looking in Finder and I am not finding anything.
 
Finally got things to work. I had a dialog box that was not popping before to give permission for bandcamp to download files to this Mac.
 
And the files are going were I expected them to go. One thing at a time. Steve Roach is sounding fantastic on my HomePod 2's.
