My iMac the other day rebooted while I was using it. Well first it when black as if totally shutdown and then restarted.

Where do I look to find the cause? Any chance it was logged? I assume it was since the machine restarted on its own. However it came up and apparently Time Machine wanted to know where it was supposed to backup which is annoying to say the least (it also lost all my excludes in Time Machine too)

Oh, this was while browsing using Firefox

All system error messages can be found in 'Console' (spotlight it, or it's in Apps->Utilities).
