Where do my backed up files go when backed up through iTunes?

I am currently running OSX Yosemite 10.10.1, and I have just backed up my iPhone 5 files and data, although I am not sure where to locate this backed up data. I am running iTunes 12.0.1.26 if this helps.

This would be very helpful if I were using Windows, but unfortunately I do not know where to paste and/or use this to find my files. Could you elaborate some more? I apologize for the the lack of knowledge.

Go into Finder, Macintosh HD, Users, select the user, Library, Application Support, Mobile sync
