Where do they go?

When I want to save a picture in an email I touch the picture, then touch Save Image, but can't find where the pic goes. What am I doing wrong? I've also tried Save Attachment to no avail....

Should be in your photos app

It’s in photos. Timeline will be whenever it was taken but all photos will be the most recent one.

I sent a pic to my wife's iPad 2, opened it and "saved" it by touching the save image button. Nothing showed up in the Photos app. I then touched save attachment, same result. I still can't find the pics that I'm sending off to who knows where....?
