I've tried the hard case idea and hated it, it was either never where I needed it ("crap, left it on my nightstand again..."), or it felt bulky in my pockets. My husband's forever leaving his behind someplace as well. I like that keychain idea, might get him one of those. I'd like to know the dimensions though, nowadays keys are bulky as hell with car remotes and such.

Bought a leather pouch for the iPhone from Shinnorie a couple of months ago; a snap shut pocket on the front holds a small microfiber cloth and my earbuds, flat rear pocket can hold cardkeys, credit cards, or ID. I've used it as a wallet by itself, or thrown it into a jacket pocket, backpack, or purse. It's one of the better accessories I've bought--the extra protection for the phone itself means I'm able to use a case now that's super slim and light, and I finally always have my earbuds handy whenever I want them.

Only took me since the original iPhone to figure that one out...

Mine is pretty compact. Don't have a ruler but I would say a you could put two USB thumb drives in it. Google their site Budcase, they might have the dimensions on it.
