My favorites: Ann Taylor Loft (because I work there), H&M, Target, and Filene's Basement. I'm a bargain hunter, so everything I buy is always on sale and cheap.

Ummm...I don't really do that much clothes shopping. Old Navy would probably be my most frequent destination. I guess I don't put as much value on clothes as I do some of the other things in my life. But I don't look like a scrub, either. :)

Chain stores:

Zara
American Apparel
Agnes B.
Club Monaco
Reiss

Local institutions:

M.A.C.
Azalea (Tobi.com)

I still wear a lot of jeans from HS so this list is skewed as it spans nearly a decade of clothes buying/ wearing.

The majority of what I wear these days:
  • American Apparel
  • GAP
  • Lacoste
  • concert tees (to support artists I like since CD sales presumably don't help them much)

And stores that I randomly pop into and own random bits and pieces from:
  • Urban Outfitters
  • Eddie Bauer
  • surplus store (to get simpler stuff like Levi's, Dickies, etc.)
  • REI (REI brand, the north face, etc.)

I'd say a large portion of my wardrobe is from Kohl's. After that, Macy's, along with some specialty stores for dressier stuff (Men's Wearhouse, etc.).

Primarily Kohls and Old Navy.

I also have a collection of concert t-shirts and other random t-shirts I like that I have found in various places (Transformers shirts, Nintendo shirts, etc.)

I'm confused as to why brands like Lee's, Levi's and Dockers are ubiquitous in department stores in North America such as Target, Kohl's, Wal-Mart, etc., and very inexpensive, while they have retail stores and are very exclusive and expensive on the east side of the world (China, HK, Australia)?

Armani Exchange for t-shirts.
American Eagle for polos, long sleeve collared shirts, jeans, and shorts.
Lucky Brand for jeans.
And I almost only buy sale stuff.

One reason might be that Levi's, like some other brands, have different lines of clothing. They have the very upscale pairs for $100+ and they have the generic lines that go for $35. :p

Wherever I can find cute stuff cheap. Old Navy, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, Target, Wal Mart. I could give a damn about brand names. I can't be bothered spending a bunch of money on clothes. I have electronics and alcohol habits to support!!!!

Ooh, same here! Although, there's a place in Texas called Agaci that has cute, cheap stuff. I can get a pair of jeans for $20. Other places want to charge me $40+ for the same friggin' thing! They also have great prices on basics: 2 solid coloured tanks for $8, undies 5 for $20, etc. I got a really cute pink tube top that buttons up the front for only $15. Saw basically the same thing for $50 two shops over.

<3 cheap!

All of my T-shirts are from Concerts or from Urban Outfitters
Everything else; Jeans, Shirts, Sweaters, Polos ect are from: "La Maison Simons" & "Club Monaco".

I got to Simons because they have everything for really great prices. I bought 2 pairs of socks, shorts, a polo, a shirt and sun glasses and the total came out to just under $100 (granted, there was a sale). And they have all kinds of styles, so it's great.

I shop at Club Monaco only because my brother works there, and I can get discounts. If he didn't work there, I wouldn't go, because I find it's over priced.
