Where do you file your photos?

I've been moving my photos off the iPhoto Organize page onto a file called "Photos" in Library. I do this to keep the Organize page empty for the arrival of new photos.

If you were to move your photos off the iPhoto Organize page, where would YOU move them to?

What do you mean by the iPhoto Organise page? I let iPhoto manage all my picture files. 😱

Your photos are under Library? Ewww, that folder is like your Mac's septic tank! Occasionally it's necessary to go in and clean it out, but that's an icky place to store your valuables 😛

You can check your version by going into "About iPhoto".

Sorry to tell you this, but you are really outdated, the latest, which most of us have, is 6.0.5! 😱

You can upgrade with iLife 06. That gets you iPhoto 6, iMovie HD 6, iDVD 6, Garage Band 3, iTunes 7 and iWeb. I'd wait though, iLife 07 will be here in a few days!

iLife 07 is probably coming out soon, so I wouldn't spend any money on 06 just yet, especially if you have 05. 🙂

I have not used iPhoto. I store photos in the external HD under whatever folder name I came up (I usually go with "My Picture"). I use Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, or Aperture to look at Photos.
I heard iPhoto may crash once you have too many photos. I am not sure if that is true or not.
