For all you people who keep their wallets in their back pocket, which is the most vulnerable place imaginable, please simply send the money to me.

I will provide a swiss bank account number or you could send the money to me via PayPal. ;)

I've never lost my wallet before and I've been doing that for the past 15 years. ;)

Back right pocket.

I'll throw it in my front if I'm going out or to a really crowded area. You never know.

Front right pocket, with chapstick and a pen.

Keys, phone, and knife in left front pocket.

Always.

:)

What a man-centric poll. I usually keep mine in my handbag. However sometimes when I am not feeling the bag-carrying thing I often drop cash and cards into random pockets and feel all liberated.
This is why I made a "Other - Explain" option ;)
What is this? Some kind of wallet/hanky code? ;)

Mine goes back left or front left pocket.
That is disturbing....

My wallet is thick enough that I would feel someone steal it from my back pocket. ;)

When I have to sit for long periods of time (school), I put it in my front pocket, so I won't hurt my back.

Back right pocket, when I'm out. But when I sit for anything over five or ten minutes I take it out and either carry it or put it in my shirt pocket.

whoa whoa.. it HAS to be phone front right, keys front left, wallet back right.

Keys in the back pocket? They'd fall out! plus you'd get keys in uncomfortable places..

for me, its logical -

Phone front right - im right handed, i hold my phone with my right hand primarily, especially when having a phone call.

Keys front left - I open my door with my left hand cause the lock is on the left side - the keys open it whilst my right hand puses the door open..

Wallet back right - its flat, sits nicely in there, not uncomfortable to sit on, again right handed means i get money out with my right hand.

Perfect :D

 Right-handed also, but phone is carried/held on the left side. I dial with the right.

I have wallet, with money & CC's in the right-front, and a small card folio for all my i.d. plastic in the left-front. They can have my wallet, if they must. ;)

That's when I realized that having a wallet in your back pocket isn't good for your back. Ever since then I've kept it in my left front pocket.

I am the only person I know that doesn't keep it in their back pocket. I'm just wondering how many other people keep it in their front pocket.

Similar reasoning for me.. My ass hurt because my wallet was stuffed with junk. Except I switched to a money clip years ago and keep it in my right front pocket.

For me, as you know, wallet is in left front pocket. iPhone is in a holster thing clipped onto my belt about my right front pocket. Keys either go in my sweatshirt pocket or clipped to a belt loop on my left side.

When I work its a whole different story. I am a train conductor so I have a lot of stuff to carry:

Wallet in left front pocket
Keys clipped onto a belt loop and tucked into the same pocket as my wallet.
iPhone in holster on belt on my right side
Work cell phone in a holster right behind my iPhone
Ticket punch on my left side but more to the front
Train door keys right to the left of my ticket punch
Flashlight on belt holster on left side but more to the back
Ticket pouch which holds my fare cards and blank tickets and a lot of other stuff on my belt on the right side but more to the front.

i use to do it front right pocket, but then i noticed when i wanted to take my wallet out when I was sitting, it was difficult... and it still is...lol

then changed to my back right pocket but i don't like it when it's full of money and coins, cause my butt hurts when i sit on it!:p

I'm surprised how many keep it in their right back pocket. Is this board dominated by lefties?

For those of us who are right-handed, it seems much easier to keep it in your left back pocket and take it out with your left hand, so you can use your right hand to take out whatever you need (cash, debit card, etc.).

It's kind of hard to keep it in a front pocket in business casual attire. It might pass while you're standing, but when you sit down it looks like you have a large tumor on your thigh or something. :D

You make a valid point.

Years ago I stopped switching my knife and fork while eating, yet I still switch my wallet from right to left, to take out bills.

I might have to re-think another life-long habit.

Thanks a hump. :p
