Myself, I mostly use my 13” M4 iPad Pro in bed.

Surfing, shopping, email, and a lot of TikTok/YouTube.

I prop it up against a pillow (in a Folio) and it is so immersive.

How about you?
Pretty much the same. Mainly because it’s the only time I can just stop to watch “TV”. Most of the time I’m doing something.

Mostly YouTube with the occasional shopping. I have email setup on my iPhone and Mac but never bothered to put it on my iPad. I have an off brand folio that the cover makes a stand

Everywhere.

At work - teaching in the classroom, streaming media when marking at my desk, plus it's more "discreet" compared to using a phone during meetings (one specialised use of stage manager is to allow 4 apps side-by-side). 😛

At home - on the couch, in bed, a second screen when working (eg: right now, it's bringing up my teacher guide while I am typing out my lesson plans on my M1 MBA). Oh, and sometimes in the toilet as well. 😬

At home, I use my 13” iPad (mainly with the keyboard stand unless I’m using the Pencil) on my couch or on my back patio. I use my iPad Mini in bed, and in kitchen while doing dishes, dining room while eating, bathroom while getting ready and stuff, and on my back patio if I’m just consuming. At home my iPad Mini is my most used device.

At work, I use my 13” iPad (with keyboard) off to the side of my work computer.

And I take my 13” iPad (with keyboard and Pencil) on most trips.

I have been iPad free for a long time. 99.999% of my iPad use has been in my office or on my bed - to read books. I recently hopped on a Best Buy $150 off promotion for an iPad mini A17 - after several years of reading on my iPhone, figured I could afford an iPad mini for $379.

I use it exclusively to read articles and books either in bed or next to my desk in a chair. 100% at home.

I’ve generally got my iPad with me all the time.
Browsing, emails, music, TV and films as well as reading books and comics.
Use it a lot at home, and it really comes into its own when I’m travelling.

Come bed time, I put my 13" Pro on the nightstand... You never know when you have to look something up on the net when you''re lying in bed :)

I got the 13" Pro specifically for watching streaming content. In the evenings I lay down on the sofa, prop it on my chest and watch stuff like Vimeo, YouTube, etc .

I also use it for navigation. I have the cellular version which has the built in GPS receiver. I have a dash mounted holder for it. The 13 inch screen is way larger than most factory installed nav systems. Plus, I have a Jeep Wrangler and often take it off-road on trails etc. There are some good off road navigation apps that I use. One of the better ones is Gaia GPS..

I always comment about the iPad being tough and relatively scratch proof versus a MacBook and because of that I use mine more in bed/couch and on work site so I don’t have to worry about laptop picking up any scratches from hair or spilled drinks etc..

It’s mostly collecting dust in the cupboard because I have a MacBook Air. Though yesterday I watched a movie on it, and that was probably the first time I’d used it in about half a year.

this might sound crazy but while working on my car. i use gloves and the apple pencil is a nice degree of removal from the screen so I don't get nasty stuff on it. Any laptop I use in these situations gets pretty nasty. Its great to have youtube and the web on a large screen, and i can FaceTime myself with my iPhone to look around the backside of tough to access areas, like a clumsy wireless endoscopic camera that you can't really fit anywhere :)

Is and always has been since iPad original, my most used Apple device. Have the 11 inch M4 Pro with Magic Keyboard. Use it at home primarily as a consumption device: YouTube TV, YouTube, Netflix, and of course Safari for searching the WWW:). I’ve got large screen OLED TV’s all over the house, MacBook Pro, Mac Studio, iPhone, but the portability, navigation, quality of the iPad make it my go to device.
