Shows up in the app called wallet on your phone also will show up on bank statements also of coarse.

Dont think your bank statement show what was an apple pay purchase and what was a normal card purchase would it? It will show on there as as a transaction but i dont think it would show anything to say it was done with Apple Pay rather than a normal debit\credit card.

Wallet app should show the transactions done for each card, if you have multiple, you have to choose the card in the wallet app to show the transactions if you have more than one added. You an also see them if you go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay choose the relevant card and go to the Transactions tab on that card. There is also an option here for "Show History" which needs to be enabled to list them i think.

Obviously will show up on bank statement as a normal purchase but you will obviously know that you made that transaction with Apple Pay if the person can remember that they used Apple Pay for that transaction. Furthermore just use the wallet app to be even more certain.

I've just checked a few of my credit card statements, and the manner in which mobile wallets are reported varies from issuer to issuer.

Here are a few examples:

American Express adds a prefix (in my case, it was Samsung Pay, and the transaction line reads "SamPay," then the name of the merchant and other details associated with the transaction).

Discover adds the words "APPLE PAY ENDING IN," followed by the last 4 numbers of the virtual card number, to the second line of each transaction completed with Apple Pay.

Navy Federal Credit Union adds nothing to indicate whether the transaction was made with a mobile wallet. The same is true of Capital One, PNC and Wells Fargo.

Some banks do identify contactless transactions (as would be apple pay in-store). Chase, for example, used to put a contactless ·))) mark next to such purchases in the past. Though they don’t do it anymore, other banks may be labeling contactless trsansactions similarly.

Didn't used to show in wallet if you used the apple watch, unless they've changed it (I'm still rockin' a S0)
You’re correct, the transaction list for purchases made using the apple watch originally didn’t exist, but starting in watchOS 5 and later versions that changed and now the list is available in the wallet & apple pay section of the watch app. The S0 only got as far as the WatchOS 4 update, so the transaction list was never enabled for that particular model. I never understood why apple did that. It’s not like any special hardware was needed for the transaction list, so it could have been enabled much sooner to include the s0 as well. Or remotely enabled without an update on the s0 while the rest of the models got it via the software update.

And Chase doesn’t add anything either to report that a transaction was made with a mobile wallet. They used to mark contactless in-store purchases with a symbol ·))) but now they don’t even do that anymore.

And it shows up in watch>wallet & apple pay for purchases made using an apple watch.

Right. And if you used an apple watch, you then have to go to Watch>wallet & Apple Pay to find the list of transactions. Also note that, except for the Apple Cash card and the Apple Card, only the 10 most recent transactions for each credit or debit card are listed.
