Where do you lay you iPad when you're hang in your house? I always put mine on at least a piece of paper

btw I have a Belkin Grip Vue case on mine (keeps the slim profile while still maintaining the desired amount of comfort)

I put mine in the iPad box with the top part off which rests on my computer desk and when I wake up, I can easily reach over to check my mail/weather etc.

I'm in a dorm. Most of my desk space is gone and I'm only on my bed when I sleep so I usually lightly toss it onto the bed.

When I first got it I was nervous because they were out of cases and was so afraid I was gonna fall asleep at night and just let it drop on the floor like I do with remotes. I cleaned out my night stand drawer and put some old shirt in to buffer. Now that I got the case, I still use the drawer / iPad shrine but am not as adamant about making sure I put it in there every time I put it down, just at night.
