Where does it say MA701LL/A, MA700LL ,MB466LL, etc?

Sometimes people refer to MacBook models as MA700LL, MB466LL, MB467LL/A, MB881LL, etc... but I have never seen that information written on a MacBook. All I find is things like aA1181 or a1185 on the case and things like MacBook 2,1 in the system profiler. Where are these M....... numbers? 😕

Also on the invoice/order details if you buy direct from Apple.
