You make product marketing decisions like an engineer, ie cluelessly. You cite some of the worst product failures in Apple history as things Apple should do more of.
Such an odd comment after my few comments here. I made mention of target audiences/customers of particular sorts who would buy higher end items and you return with this. Hmmm.

I found this place can be toxic, this is the reason why I say that.

Developers will use the most powerful workstations available to them that they can afford.

I spent the extra $1000 to get 128MB RAM in my Mac Studio M4 Max. I have found only a few tasks that really need the RAM, but when I have, it's been great to have. I can see the day coming when 64GB makes sense for the basic desktop.

I'll tell you what, though: Chrome has never handled six open tabs so well as it does for me now.

1000 for 128MB. Apple really overcharged you.

Chrome DOES need the extra breathing room. :)

In actual fact, it was $1000 to go from 64GB to 128GB. A few months earlier, I bought 64GB DDR4 SO-DIMMs for $80 — putting 64GB on one of our basic Windows desktops. So, yes, Tim Apple took full advantage of my desire to have 128GB in macOS.
