Hi,

Does any one know this?

Where does OSX store file types (kind for e.g. .doc = Microsoft Word 97-2004 document")? I assume this should be in some plist hidden away somewhere.

Similarly, I am looking for where does OSX store "open with" information. In other words, what file is associated to open with what application. Yes, I know I can change this in finder, but where can I access the full list?

Thanks,
