I was planning on replacing the motherboard and the hard drive on my iBook but I need to know if this will affect any of the settings on the computer. Specifically the firmware update that you install while under OS 9 that you use to upgrade to OS 10. The ibook currently is running Panther, will I be able to install Panther again after the upgrade?
