He slipped on some lube and fell down the well. Unfortunately Lassie's been out on the talk show circuit, so nothing could be done.
iGary is currently detained at a secret ACI prison somewhere in Cupertino, CA. Apparently he complained about his broken quad G5 once too often and they 'dealt' with him...
iGary has left the forums and moved on to new adventures. He's out there somewhere in the real world, and we wish him well. He gave advance notice of his departure to some of his friends, but chose not to post here about it, so we'll respect his privacy.

This place has gotten weird lately and it seems that another transition is about to happen with a changing of the guard again. As this place grows a lot of the old timers leave and new members take there place. So as MWSF draws near expect some more bumps in the road.
p.s. As of Thursday it will be 5 years at MR for me and many others who joined around MWSF 02.

what?! 'Life' ??! I learnt about it once... something to do with Movement, Respiration, Sensitivity, Growth, Reproduction, Excretion, Nutrition and MacRumors, right?Why? People come and people go. It's life. There's been lots of long term and prominent members coming and going since the inception of the site. It's all part of the cycle. Nothing creepy about it.
That's the one, but in extreme circumstances the MacRumors bit can be regarded as optional. I know it's a tough concept to come to terms with.
