Where is iGary?

I think igary will be missed.
I always enjoyed his threads.
What is it lilstewart, that you know about igary leaving macrumors?

Is it a happy parting? Is igary working at apple? Did he buy a Dell?

Lets just say that some things have occurred that prevent him from being able to visit MR. It's probably best to leave it at that. 🙂

It sounds like he wasn't leaving here because of something that pissed him off about MR. That's good 🙂

Still, I would've liked a 'goodbye' thread instead of a 'what happened to..' thread but I guess it's more dramatic this way 😉 .
 
You can't win when you leave...if you don't make a post about it, it's a mysterious, dramatic disappearance. If you do post about it, you're a drama queen.

Gary has left MR, and had he wished that the details be known, he would have made them so. I think that enough info has been given in this thread that everyone can be reassured that Gary is doing just fine, so we should leave it at that.
 
I remember reading that he lost his job or got no more customers or something (he was self-employed). So maybe he had to sell his gear.
 
I don't think that we should be speculating about this. If iGary wanted people to know the reason (assuming that there is one) then he would have told them - in fact it sounds like he has told some people.

I agree, though I suddenly got curious. I think most of us wont know and I think he wanted it that way, since he seemed to have told some people.

No, if your a drama queen, its "I'm leaving the forums because you are all pathetic losers and you are mean, etc..."

If a well liked member (like iGary), one of the top posters of all time (he's #8) started a thread just saying I've got a new project, new job, lost a job, whatever the reason... and I can't post here anymore but I'm sure I'll miss it, etc... I don't think anyone would say "drama queen." Just seems common courtesy to me.
 
I think he just got so irritated with Apple in the end that he sold all his gear™*and bought a Dell. Alas, because it runs Windows, he can't go online. 🙄

I think it was more along the lines of a career shift after he just got tired of what he was doing (I have friends in high post counts 😉 ).

Hm...maybe iGary has started a secret relationship with the man in his avatar? 🙂

Wherever he's at, I wish him the best of luck at whatever he is doing. He will be missed.
 
I'm guessing he's either stuck in and airport, stuck on a plane, or complaining about SouthWest Airlines.

He may also by taking photographs somewhere or on a long vacation.

Who knows. 😱
