I called Apple Sales and was told by someone in Texas that the SE is manufactured in the United States, but I find this very hard to believe. He also told me the battery is made in India and the other components in many different countries, which sounds credible.

Every single time I have talked to an Apple employee, they have perjured themselves. They’re known to mislead customers. And I am talking of Apple EU and Apple USA.

The original 2016 iPhone SE actually had some manufacturing in the Bangalore plant in India, but some of the main components were also assembled in Shenzhen, China. But if I recall correctly, I Believe a past article was discussing that the iPhone SE 2 manufacturing was primarily being assembled the Foxconn factory in China.
