When I create a slideshow in iphoto and add music, I have a choice of using anything from my iTunes library, a Sample Music file and a Theme Music file. Location of iTunes is obvious, the Sample Music is in iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources/Music, but where is the Theme Music file located?

Theme music is not a file, it is a selection of musical tracks you can add to your slideshow. When you want to add music to your slideshow, just change the Source selector to Theme Music. I think the default is iTunes. You will be presented with a list of "theme" selections from which to choose. Select one. Then click OK.

LaWally,
Thing is-the 14 songs listed in Theme Music source are not in my music folder and so not in iTunes (except one, but iTunes shows it being 6:12 in length, while the Theme source shows it to be 6:48 in length. They have to be located somewhere, but my searches don't show them
