Where Is Lion?

    Why is it taking so long for apple to upload Lion to there servers so we can start downloading it? The gold master disk has been out for a wile now, whats the hold up?

    Could it be that Apple has more than one server to prepare? And get support ready? And educate all of their shop personel?

    Not to mention a number of Mac App Store submittals to go through.

    yes but they have more than one person working for them so they can prepare at the same time.

    GM doesn't mean that the OS will be shipped immediately. If the MBA rumors are true, then Apple must wait for sufficient amount of MBAs to be ready. It takes time to install Lion in hundreds of thousands of machines and then ship them worldwide.
