In Snow Leopard where is the photo located on my Mac that I see when I open my Account? I would enjoy replacing that photo that is currently in my Address Book.
You can change your current photo to any other photo that's on your Mac from the Accounts section of System Preferences and once changed will automatically appear in Address Book and any other place that it displays. On OS X 10.4.11 Tiger there's a Picture tab under Accounts in System Preferences where you do this, I imagine that it's the same or similar with newer versions of OS X. If you don't like any of the default pictures that are available there you can navigate to any other picture on your Mac and use it. HTH
What folder on my Mac contains the photo that is currently visible when I open my account in the Accounts option in System Preferences? This photo appears to the left of Change Password.
If my memory is correct the photo was created when I first set-up my laptop.
I believe that photo is the photo taken with the iSight when you do the initial setup, I'm not sure where that's stored, but I think that if you go to your card in Address Book, go to Edit mode and double click the current photo you might be able to use the iSight to take a new one.
I'm using OS X 10.4.11 Tiger so it might be different under Snow Leopard, but yes, I have that folder and it does have my user picture (the default dog) as I don't have an iSight on my iMac.
Snow Leopard is different in that respect. Heck, you can even see your pictures in the iPhoto folder in Finder.
I went into Terminal and told the computer to display all the hidden files and folders in Finder without any success. I did a search for iChat and Images and nothing came up.
