only noticable 'gripe' since mavericks install

my dock which I use autohide at the bottom of the screen has worked brilliant for past 2 years osx10 then mountain lion

I now find my 'hidden dock' doesnt 'appear' when I hover over the bottom of the screen or at best randomly apppears after hovering for a few times minmum

Is there any macbook pro users experienced this?

Are you using Safari in Full screen mode? if so then the dock is supposed to hide when you do that.

Do you mean the dock seems to be acting abit shy?

I've found working on two displays that the dock has been intermittently shy - I've had to fight around the bottom of both displays to call the do I at times.

Disappointing to say the least!

Same.

The Dock requires a slow deliberate mouse down action from roughly the middle of the screen when apps are in full screen mode. It's incredibly annoying. But that's the way it goes.

I wasn't referring to full screen mode.

I've noticed a significant change from ML to M. Very inconsistent, even with a click on the screen first to ensure active display.
