This.

By the time iPhone 14 comes out, Sierra Blue will seem outdated.

2021: Everyone will see you have the latest iPhone
2022: Everyone will see you have last year's iPhone.
You sound like the type of person that would buy those iPhone 11 back covers with the fake ultra wide camera to stick on the XR ;)

Ordered graphite Pro Max. Never really been bothered about phone colour as they are always in a case, which is always black.

I originally purchased the graphite 12 pro last year before shortly giving it to my wife and getting a silver 12PM.

Definitely miss the color and think its the sleekest of this year's batch

Preordered me a 13PM in graphite =)

Not really. You sound like you did that since I didn't even know people do that. Also, you sound like you bought the powder blue iPhone. More power to you.

I simply think you should buy the colour you enjoy and only base it on that.

You never know what someone’s thinking about you in their head anyway as it is impossible to know and it will be for at least this century (unless Neuralink…) - so I always think there’s no point caring if someone can see my baby blue iphone is not the latest and greatest model.

Either way, I was only joking. The graphite looks sweet too, enjoy :)

Either way, I only replied to your ad hominem comment.

I pre-ordered the Pro Max in Graphite. The only iPhone I've had that wasn't "black" was the 6s Plus. Otherwise, they've all been either Space Gray or Graphite. I skipped the 11, but I would have gotten that in Midnight Green. If the 13 Pro Max had a dark purple, I think I would have chose that. Maybe like the Prince-inspired purple that Pantone released in 2018.

12 Pro Graphite coming from Pixel 2. I'm actually on my second Pixel 2, the first of which was in the awesome "Kinda Blue" that is not entirely unlike the new Sierra Blue. Definitely thought about the blue, but graphite/black leather seemed like the way to go for this one.

Does it matter? Do you walk around judging people with the Pacific Blue 12 Pro?

iPhone 12PM in graphite - I have alternated between black/white/space gray/graphite, etc... with one detour into gold for an XS Max - which was gorgeous. I did not get the 'Jet Black' iPhone 7 which apparently was a scratch magnet.

I would love to see the Pro line do a dark black like they are doing on the regular 13 - seeing some of the reviews of the iPhone 13 Mini (I think most of the reviewers got a black one) reminded me of how far off graphite or space gray is from a deep black - and they can darken the stainless steel a bit from the current color.

Graphite Gang here!

Haven’t gotten a black / grey iPhone since the Jet Black (best colored iPhone OAT) on my iPhone 7! Good to be back! Can’t wait for my 13 Pro Max on Friday!

If I trusted my sexuality more I’d get the gold!! I secretly love it but couldn’t pull it off.
Rocked an iPhone XS Max in gold for 2 years - loved it. The stainless steel looked as new as when I opened the box after 2+ years. It was heavy and the gold color made it feel expensive (of course as opposed to the iPhone 6S I traded in - it was :))
