I usually have this options menu during right click on weblinks the gives me the options of;

Open Link in New Tab…

Open Link in New Window…

etc.

etc.

etc.

But sometimes this switches on its own to a different submenu of options listed below;

Save Page As…

View Background Image…

Select All…

etc.

etc.

etc.

I have 4 questions;

1) how do I change this back to the first original submenu options?

2) how can I prevent this from changing on its own again?

3) is this a change in OSX System Preferences or is it a browser setting?

4) Is this submenu easily customizable? Or do I need a special toolbox program?

The right click menu is "contextual". Its items depend on what you clicked. For example, if you don't click on a link you won't see options to "Open link...".

when I right-click on a link this first menu with "Open link in new tab" etc still does not show up? It seems to have permanently changed to never showing this menu again regardless if I right-click on a link or not?

How do you "right click" on a laptop with a track pad?
