Sometime early in August (6th to 10th) Google announced a Chrome 68.0.3440.106 stable channel update (google blog). Chrome updates are usually followed by Chromium updates within a few days, however, to date (almost a month later) we have seen nothing related, no news or further announcements.
Anyone know what's up? I am especially interested in the Chromium update (still on 68.0.3440.84)
Edited 9-3-2018 to bring the dates up to date.
[Edit] On 9-4-2018, Chromium was updated to the 68.0.3440.106 version, almost a month after the Chrome version was released. Sigh, back to a normal workflow.

That must be an automatic update function. I usually use Chromium, which is available on https://sourceforge.net/projects/osxportableapps/files/Chromium/? - and usually within a day or 2 after any Chrome update. I should have mentioned that, but I have not seen that Chrome update available on several sites it usually appears on, so I assumed it was delayed too.
    Thanks for the clarification.

With automatic Chrome updates turned on:

Google Chrome is up to date
Version 70.0.3521.2 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)

Note that this particular update is a dev update, however, it is stable and works well.

Now, does anyone have a link to the Chromium version or even a dev build? Or know why the normally quick release of Chromium is missing? Stolen by the little green meanies?:D
