Apple's website says the 15" MBP has one Firewire 400 port and one Firewire 800 port. My MBP and the MBP on their website only has one Firewire port. Are they just saying it's a dual purpose Firewire port? Typo?

Regardless, I only have one Firewire port. Does it support Firewire 800?

even then, you do need a 9 to 6 pin cable to hook up to the C2D machines, since there is only a 6pin port

...the Core 2 Duo has one FireWire 400 port, and one Firewire 800 port, no need for a 9-6 pin cable.
