It's next to the keyboard. On left and right. You can see many little dots, that's where the speaker is 😀

No actually the grille is only for the MBP! No grilles on the MB!

i read on engadget or somwhere that the speakers are in the same place as the old macbooks. they're at the back of the laptop so when the lid is open, the sound bounces off the lid towards the user.

If you download the manual from the Apple site, there is a picture with arrows pointing to the front of the keyboard for the in built stereo speakers on the MB.

the little hole on the left of the MacBook is the mic.
