Hey guys,

I always loved the split lockscreen of the iPad. It seemed very functional. I bought a new iPad in years, primarily because of the new iPad features of ios 11. However, somehow.. Apple removed it?

I only get a single column lockscreen and notification center, whilst ios 10 has a split screen one, as attached as an image..

Do I need to adjust some settings or is this feature seriously gone in ios 11?

If there's no split screen lock screen in iOS 11, where's all your stuff? Just one long list or what?

Yup, just one long list. Single column instead of double column. I really liked the look of the two columns with weather in one corner and time/date in the other.

In fact, when you want to see widgets, you have to swipe, just as on the iPhone. Previously you could see all your widgets in a glance, next to your notifications, on the same screen.

I don't see any value to this change.. Hope it's a bug, but I'm afraid not because of the new 'notification center' design that should be smarter. Although everyone is bitching about it, because it looks like your lockscreen when on the home screen, whilst it isn't.

Odd thing Apple, odd thing..

I might be the exception, but I like the idea of just one long list.
With both the 12.9 and the 10.5 I like to keep them the same as much as possible. Two columns didn’t work out because they where of different width.
Now with one long list, it will be the same on my iPhone, and both pro’s.
