Where to buy 8core MacPro

    Good day everyone

    I am in the market for an 8core mac pro

    can any one suggest a good place to buy and or have any codes to buy

    Looking to buy within the next week.

    Also may include a monitor if money premits

    Looks for a 2.8 dual quads with a nivida 8800gt 512 everything else is nogotiable.

    For standard issue 2.8 - best bet is Amazon since they have rebates. If you are set on the 8800 then that is custom and now you have to go to MacMall or the Apple Store. MacMall and Amazon will not charge tax, Apple will. These are your choices...

    Go to pricegrabber.com and do a search on the part number for the machine. If you want a base model, you'll find 10 places that sell it. Some cheaper than Amazon with no tax and in some cases, free shipping.

    You could also try MacConnection - they have configs with different video cards there. I'm happy with the MacPro in my sig that I bought from them.

    Yes i do want the video card.

    I have been leaning twords macmall

    just woundering if there is anywhere else out there..

    i have a local shop we deal with here which i save 10% on but trying to see if its worth buying form them or macmall

    i will check out MacConnection thanks
