It seems very few companies are selling Thunderbolt 3 enclosures, and a lot of TB solutions out there in general are multi-bay solutions which I don't want or need.

I just want to get a USBC TB3 SSD that's small. I would prefer the option of having it bus powered or AC powered.

What's out there?

Thunderbolt 3 enclosures with M.2, Mac disable the M.2 drivers for the third party (typical Mac OS). But for 2.5", 3.5" these are every where ranges from JBOD, Hardware RAID a 4 drives to 256 drives (SAS Option)
Akitio, LaCie, DATOptic

Or you can use the US B3.1 pocket drive

With 2x mSATA you can get over 400MB/s, and it's powered from the bus

One can buy Tbolt 3 enclosures, IF one is willing to pay.
Whether you want to spend that much, is up to you.

Actually, the DAT Optic 2-drive USB3.1 enclosure that FireWire2 posted above looks interesting...
